What is your conference capacity?

Up 380 people in Theatre style

Up to 300 for private dining

Is parking provided complimentary and will there be many spaces?

There is ample car parking to the front and side of the hotel. Overflow car parks are also available for larger events

I have a conference that needs breakout rooms, what options can you provide?

Yes, all of our conference and events space is located in the same centre. We have four breakout rooms available from the main functions space. The Smith Barry also has an outdoor terrace with the potential to create another breakout area

I wish to  plan an event with a gala dinner in the evening, how can this be personalized?

Our team from the Chefs, events right down to operation understand that each event must meet the highest of Standards. We offer personalized menus with messages and logos. We can also provide a table seating plan for the event. Should items be required to place tables, we will assist you in sourcing these. We are with you every step of the planning process

I will have exhibitors, How will this work?

Exhibitors and sponsors have a number of options depending on the nature of the event. The Smith Barry Suite can host 6 -8 exhibitor stands with additional exhibitors being hosted in function suites such as the Dorothy Bell and the Fitzstephen Suite

I need a registration area, how will this be managed?

We have two options. Our customer service desk located in the lobby beside the entrance to the function space is the ideal location for conference accommodation check ins and for registration on the morning of the conference. We can also offer you a registration table inside the pre function area to the main Suite if required

My event needs accommodation, what is available?

We have a total of 131 bedrooms in the hotel across 3 floors. The third floor houses 4 suites.

If overflow accommodation is required, our 2 and 3 bed lodges, located just a 5 minute walk from the hotel entrance, offer private bedroom accommodation with the added amenities of a kitchen and external garden

We want to plan an ice breaker session for the conference, do you provide options?

Yes, we have a number of options. Our spa team delivers meditation and mindfulness talks. We can also a third party to provide operatic singing or perhaps some drumming to get the blood pumping

We want to book a conference room. Catering, bedrooms and perhaps golf or the Spa, do we have to communicate with each department separately.

We try to make the booking process as streamlined as possible for you the booker and we do assure that it will be a single billing option for all services within the Resort. We will coordinate all requirements for you and you will have one main contact throughout the booking process
